European Web3 Builders, Assemble!
Rally Protocol is Attending the DevX Global Tour
Rally Protocol is participating in the Europe leg of the DevX Global Tour and is inviting all web3 builders to mix with fellow community members, build new applications, and reap the rewards!
As an official sponsor of this year’s DevX Global Tour, we will be crisscrossing Europe for a series of community events as we build up to this year’s DevX digital hackathon. 4 winning teams will each receive a $2,500 bounty for the best applications built using Rally Protocol, and in addition to the prize money the top 5 hackathon winners, chosen by a panel of experts, will be invited to showcase their creations at Polygon Connect this September.
Here are the full details.
European Guild Meetups
Rally Protocol will be landing in six different European cities this month to meet web3 builders from all across Europe. You don’t have to be in a Polygon Guild to attend the events — everyone is welcome! Simply register for whichever Guild meetup below is closest to you and join in on the fun.
- Amsterdam (July 6)
- Zagreb (July 7)
- London (July 12)
- Paris (July 20)
- Lisbon (July 24)
- Berlin (July 27)
For context – Polygon Guilds are developer-run communities located around the world, which serve as local hubs for collaboration and innovation centered on web3 adoption via Polygon. In short, joining an existing Guild in your city is a great way to connect, collaborate, and learn from fellow builders, but not necessary to participate in any DevX events.
Build and Win During the European DevX Digital Hackathon
The Guild meetups will be followed by the EMEA Hackathon starting on August 1, 2023. This ultimate coding showdown is your chance to flex your technical and creative chops. Again, participation is open to anyone and everyone.
At Rally Protocol, we believe that to truly bring the next billion users to Web3, mobile needs to be at the forefront and developers need tools and infrastructure that make it easy to build mobile dApps that perform more like traditional apps.
To that end, hackathon participants building with Rally Protocol have three project options to choose from:
- Create a mobile application that uses the EOA on the device as a signer in a SAFE, SoulWallet, or other smart contract
- Create an app that uniquely leverages mobile devices and system functionalities that have traditionally been underexplored in web3 (ex: camera, gyroscope, biometrics, location)
- Write a GSN client that calls Rally Protocol’s API in NodeJS, Python, or Ruby
Registration for the hackathon will open soon, along with key dates and event rules. On top of that, we will also be hosting a hackathon workshop on streamlining web3 mobile app development prior to the hackathon.

Hackathon Prizes
Rally Protocol will be giving 4 winning teams a $2,500 bounty, and Polygon will also be offering a bounty of $50,000 for the EMEA hackathon.
In addition to this prize money, Polygon will invite the top 5 winners to showcase their projects at Polygon Connect, a premier event featuring prominent VCs, builders, and experts in the web3 space. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain exposure and get feedback from top industry players, which can help you take your project to the next level.
